PM to reveal ‘big secrets’ in maiden Budget speech
PUTRAJAYA: Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi will reveal the big secrets of his maiden Budget when he tables his document in the Dewan Rakyat today.

Accompanying him were Finance Minister II Tan Sri Nor Mohamed Yakcop and Deputy Finance Minister Datuk Dr Ng Yen Yen.
Abdullah, who is Finance Minister I, greeted his staff and watched them at work as he darted into the sorting, printing and Budget operations rooms.
In a lighter vein, he noted that most of the staff were women.
We really see here the presence of women power, he quipped.
Abdullah later told reporters the Budget was the culmination of consultations and discussions with both the private sector and various agencies since March.
Asked whether there were goodies in the Budget, he replied with a smile: Wait for tomorrow.
