Share prices close higher on London Stock Exchange
LONDON (AP) - Share prices rose Thursday on the London Stock Exchange.
The FTSE 100-share index closed up 17.8 points, or 0.4 percent, at 4,893.2.
Provisional volume was 3.1 billion shares, unchanged from Wednesday. - AP
