Tracks may differ due to weather
RAUB: The jungle trail in Fraser’s Hill might differ sometimes due to changing weather conditions but this would not cause difficulties to professional guides and villagers, said Pahang’s Arts, Culture, Heritage, Tourism and Women’s Affairs Committee chairman Datuk Maznah Mazlan.
“There are tracks which changed every day because of the weather, fallen trees or landslides. Sometimes, the signs are misleading due to naughty trekkers who disturbed them,” she said.
The tracks, she said, were maintained but not on an everyday basis.
She added however that the boys should have prepared by having complete information or having adults accompany them.
