Ahmadinejad says UN resolution a "piece of torn paper"
TEHRAN (Reuters) - Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Sunday rejected a U.N sanctions resolution as "a piece of torn paper" which would not scare the Iranians into stopping nuclear work, the semi-official Fars news agency reported.
"It is a piece of torn paper ... by which they aim to scare Iranians ... It is in the Westerners' interests to live with a nuclear Iran," Ahmadinejad said.
